It's not as if designing web sites wasn't hard enough! - Poor Mike Rowe Soft Design

Mike Rowe, a Canadian 17 year old has a tiny web design company(it turned over $1,000 (Canadian dollars) last year). In a few moths ago Mike registered a domain for his company: mikerowesoft.com. Microsofts not a happy camper, claiming copyright infringement and demanding he turns over the domain to them. All of this has caused so many visits to his web site that his host pulled the plug and he had to relocate his site in a hurry!

The story was covered in heaps of online and traditional media including Canadas Vancouver Sun which has a nice photo of young Mike.

Christmas and New Year are just memories now

Although we worked all through the festive season (other than a couple of days invested in playing Warcraft III - The Frozen Throne) it was still a relaxing time, the phone hardly rung and we had time to catch up on things, even though we took on a new client and completed the work within a week (www.maxmannix.com), Max is a great guy and it was a pleasure to work with him, his art is uniquely Australian and wonderful to look at.

This year is going to be great, lots of work and lots of rewards.
